Head Sensei Adrian Robichaud first started practicing karate at the age of 11. He has studied various styles of karate over the years. He is a practising doctor of chiropractic at Robichaud Chiropractic & Orthotics in Oshawa with over 25 years of solid martial arts training. He believes that you can benefit from karate from the very first class. He accomplishes this by teaching practical techniques from day one. He has a shodan (black belt) in Go Ju Ryu karate and a go dan (fifth degree black belt) in Shorin Ryu Karate. He has also trained in Judo and Jiu-Jitsu.
As a chiropractor he has a thorough understanding of the human body and he uses this to enhance the safety and effectiveness of his instruction. He enjoys teaching students of all ages.
Our other instructors include Sensei Gary Christensen (5th degree black belt), Margaret Scora (2nd degree black belt), Louie Givelas (3rd degree black belt) and Sensei Dan O'Brien (seventh degree black belt, Renshi) serves as our technical advisor (for all of Canada too).
Classes are always taught by someone of at least first degree black belt rank.
Many of our instructors have over fifteen years training in karate and other martial arts too.
Senior students often assist with the junior classes enhancing the instruction our youngest students receive.
